DAY 1 Zagreb
Your tour commences with an arrival transfer to your hotel. This evening, meet your guide and join your fellow travellers for a welcome dinner.

DAY 2 Zagreb - Opatija
After breakfast, take a walking tour of Zagreb’s fortified, medieval Upper Town where you will see St. Mark’s Church with its multicoloured roof, the Parliament, and the Government Palace. Afterwards, travel to lovely Opatija situated on the picturesque Kvarner Bay, a favourite resort of the Habsburgs and the European aristocracy. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

DAY 3 Opatija - Pula – Rovinj - Motvun - Opatija
Today you will explore Istria, an area that still retains both Roman and Venetian heritage. Visit the 2,000 year old Roman amphitheatre in Pula, then continue to Rovinj, perhaps the most beautiful town in Istria and the inspiration of many famous artists. After some free time, depart for Motovun to sample Istria’s tastiest treasure, the truffle before returning to Opatija.

DAY 4 Opatija – Plitvice Lakes – Zadar
This morning, take a scenic drive to the oldest and most beautiful national park in Croatia – Plitvice Lakes. Join a walking tour of the UNESCO-listed park, which consists of 16 terraced lakes connected by a series of magnificent waterfalls, and a boat ride across the emerald green Lake Kozjak with a train ride back to the entrance. Afterwards, continue to the coastal city of Zadar where you will have dinner and stay overnight at your hotel.

DAY 5 Zadar - Split
Today you will explore Zadar, a town rich in cultural and historical monuments. Here, you can see the Roman forum dating back to the 1st century AD and the Church of St. Donatus built in the 9th century AD. Also of interest is the unique Zadar Sea Organ. Continue to a local winery in the Dalmatian hinterland where you will taste their authentic Dalmatian wine accompanied by delicious Croatian style Tapas. Continue to Split where you will spend the night.

DAY 6 Split - Trogir - Split
This morning, enjoy a guided tour of Split. A city that has been built by various inhabitants over the last seventeen centuries. At the centre of this sprawling city is the Roman palace of Emperor Diocletian, built in the 4th Century. Travel to Trogir and enjoy a traditional Dalmatian lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, explore this World Heritage-listed town with a high concentration of churches, towers, and palaces which has been influenced by Greek, Roman, and Venetian culture for 2,300 years. Return to Split for a evening at leisure.

DAY 7 Split - Ston - Dubrovnik
En route to Dubrovnik, you will stop in Ston to visit a local winery to sample the famous ‘Plavac Mali’ wine. Your wine tasting will include a presentation on the wine-making process and a delicious snack. Arrive in Dubrovnik this evening and enjoy dinner tonight as a group.

DAY 8 Dubrovnik
Built-in the 13th Century, the walled city of Dubrovnik has remained relatively unchanged over the centuries. Its medieval ramparts encircle the city which visitors can enter through one of two gates under the watchful eye of the city’s patron. Your city tour includes a stroll along the Stradun, the city’s main thoroughfare, and a visit to the Franciscan Monastery. The remainder of the day is at leisure to further explore the fortified walls or perhaps head up to Mt Srd for views over the town.

DAY 9 Dubrovnik
Your tour concludes with a departure transfer for your onward journey.
