DAY 1 CRUISE: Dubrovnik
Your cruise commences with an arrival transfer to your ship. Embarkation is from 14.00hrs followed this evening by an on board welcome reception and dinner.

DAY 2 CRUISE: Dubrovnik - Slano
Experience Dubrovnik, the Jewel of the Adriatic, and its walled Old Town on a guided walking tour. Hear about the history and see the Rector’s Palace, the Bell Tower Clock, Orlando’s Column and the Sponza Palace as you stroll the Stradun, as well as the Dominican and Franciscan Monastery, which houses one of the oldest pharmacies in the world. Return to the ship to begin your journey on the Adriatic Sea, lunch will be served on board as you cruise to the quaint fisherman's village of Slano. The day ends with dinner and live Klapa music with the Captain.

DAY 3 CRUISE: Slano - Mljet - Korcula
A short cruise away is the island of Mljet. As Croatia’s greenest island, much of the area is covered by Mljet National Park which includes two unique salt water lakes and a medieval monastery. Discover the unspoilt beauty of Mljet before cruising to Korcula. On arrival, join your fellow travellers on a walking tour of this enchanting town. See the mighty fortress and city walls and learn about the infamous Marco Polo and his connection to this island.

DAY 4 CRUISE: Korcula - Vis
Stop for a refreshing swim in the warm waters of the Adriatic as you sail to beautiful Vis Island which until the late 80’s was closed to tourism and served as a military zone for the Yugoslav army. Enjoy time in Vis Town to experience the island's local food and wine, discover Greek and Roman ruins or simply marvel in the beauty of this island that featured in the movie Mama Mia 2.

DAY 5 CRUISE: Vis - Bisevo - Hvar
An early start this morning to cruise to Bisevo Island’s Blue Cave, one of the most unique natural phenomena in the world. Only recently opened to the public, its silvery blue waters are a must-see. Your journey continues to Hvar Town, for a guided walking tour of this historical centre. The remainder of the evening is then free to explore Hvar, perhaps climbing to the top of the Spanish Fortress for scenic views over the town and out to sea. The evening is free to experience the vibrant nightlife of this popular Adriatic hot spot.

Note: The Blue Cave is only accessible with small boats through an entrance just 1.5m high so it is unfortunately sometimes made inaccessible by bad weather and high waves.
DAY 6 CRUISE: Hvar
This morning cruise to the historic port town of Stari Grad and have some free time to explore before heading to a local konoba (traditional tavern). Here, feast on a tasty Peka lunch including wine tasting, overlooking the ancient Stari Grad plains. Continue your exploration of the island seeing its vineyard-covered hills, olive groves and undulating rosemary and lavender fields (seasonal), visiting Vrboska to get a glimpse of traditional island life, before finishing in the charming town of Jelsa where you will overnight and have the evening at leisure.

DAY 7 CRUISE: Hvar - Brac - Split
Explore one of the Adriatic’s loveliest islands, Brac and the laid-back town of Bol where you can find the famous Golden Horn beach. Back on board, lunch will be served followed by one last swim stop within a peaceful and secluded cove before making your way to historic Split. With your local guide, discover the city’s historic centre built around the 4th century Diocletian’s Palace. See Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle and touch the toe of the Gregory of Nin statue for good luck! Remain within the walls, a wonderful and lively area to enjoy a drink and dinner on the last night of your cruise.

DAY 8 Split - Primosten - Krka National Park - Zadar
Farewell your captain and crew as you continue your travels along the Dalmatian coast by vehicle. This morning travel to Primosten, a small, picturesque town, recognised for its almost perfectly round peninsula. Roam the small picturesque streets, taking in the relaxed vibe of this beach holiday town. We suggest you visit the hilltop Church of St. George or walk along the seaside perimeter of the Old Town or there are many beautiful beaches if you would prefer to relax. Enjoy a relaxed lunch as a group at a local restaurant before making your way to Krka National Park where you can walk off your lunch! Discover the authentically restored ensemble of small stone houses, workshops, exhibits and watermills which show how water used to make village life possible and sustainable centuries ago. Meander amongst a rich diversity of flora and fauna through a network of forest pathways as well as over wooden bridges to see the famous cascading waters of Skradinski Buk. This evening travel to Zadar for your overnight stay.

DAY 9 Zadar
In the morning get acquainted with the city on a locally guided tour, its historical centre a compact pedestrian zone, perfect to explore on foot as you discover the old walls built in 16th century by Venetians as a defence against the Turks. You will also see the 16th century Port Gate where the Venetian lion still guards the entrance, the Square of the Five Wells and the Church of St. Donat. One of its most famous landmarks is the Sea Organ, an experimental musical instrument that plays music by way of sea waves and tubes located underneath a set of large marble steps. After the tour, travel just outside of the city to visit an agricultural “Olive and wine” estate, where top-quality wines and extra virgin olive oil are ecologically produced. Enjoy the surrounding nature, strolling through olive groves and vineyards, before settling down for a delicious lunch of local products. On your return to Zadar, the remainder of the afternoon and evening is at leisure. Take advice from Alfred Hitchcock and find a place to watch the sun go down in 'the city that has the most beautiful sunsets'.

DAY 10 Zadar - Nin - Plitvice
It is all about nature today, with the first stop a short drive up the coast to the town of Nin. Here, visit Solana Nin, where the salt is naturally produced by the sun, sea and wind. As you walk through the salt pools, learn all about the natural salt process and production, the crystallisation and harvest methods. Head inland towards one of Croatia’s most astounding natural sites to see the cascading lakes of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Plitvice National Park. With your guide, explore the walking trails that hug the lakes, allowing you to journey on foot and watch as the water transforms from emerald- green to azure blue.

DAY 11 Plitvice – Zagreb - Ljubljana

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your tour to neighbouring Slovenia, staying in its capital Ljubljana for the next 2 nights. DAY 12 Ljubljana – Bled – Ljubljana
Uncover the history of Slovenia’s capital city on a guided walking tour which includes seeing the Baroque Old Town, the open-air market, Robba's Fountain and the Three Bridges. Travel to the foothills of the Julian Alps for a tour of spectacular Bled. Start with a visit inside the imposing Bled Castle which is perched on a clifftop overlooking the lake and offers the most magnificent views of the surrounding lake and countryside. Stay here and enjoy lunch at the castle, the menu aimed at preserving the dishes of the Upper Carniola region. A relaxing afternoon, as you head down by the lake to board an old fashioned hand propelled gondala known as a 'pletna' to cruise across the lake to the small island in the middle. Visit the Church of Assumption whose 15th century bell is said to bring good luck if rung. Return to Ljubljana where the remainder of the day is free to further explore on your own.

This morning, travel into the cave region of Slovenia to visit one of Europe’s largest cave systems, Postojna. Travel underground by electric train and uncover the two million year old caverns, halls and passages of this jaw-dropping subterranean world. Afterwards proceed to the fairy-tale Predjama castle, an extraordinary cave castle complex embedded onto the side of a rock. Return to Croatia, to the romantic hilltop region of Istria, known as the Croatian Tuscany. The landscape of this beautiful area will enchant you with its tranquil, medieval villages nestled on the top of hills, and fertile red soil that yields prized delicacies such as olive oil, wine and truffles. DAY 14 Buzet – Venice
Head to the neighbouring village of Motovun and climb up the winding paths to the top of the city walls for unparalleled views of the valley. You will witness firsthand the ancient art of truffle hunting as the guides lead you on a journey through the forest in search of these elusive treasures. Learn about the fascinating biology of truffles, the techniques used to locate them, and the rich history of truffle hunting in Istria. After, share stories of the past couple of weeks with an informal light lunch, a standing degustation menu that includes the traditional Istrian pasta with tartufata sauce and a glass of wine.
