Enter the baroque Wilanow Residence in Warsaw and stroll through the colourful Royal Garden of Lights before exploring the traditional Polish Christmas markets in the Old Town squares of Warsaw and Krakow.
DAY 1 Warsaw
Welcome to Warsaw! Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure so you can either relax or begin exploring this progressive city on your own. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner and meet your fellow travellers and Tour Manager at your hotel.

DAY 2 Warsaw
Begin your day with a morning orientation tour of Warsaw. Unlike many other European cities, it is dynamic and constantly evolving with modern skyscrapers, trendy young people, awesome bars and cafes and a buzzing nightlife, while remaining rich in history, culture, and attractions. Your local guide will also point out the Polish Christmas traditions and take you to the places where Christmas markets are in full swing. Afterwards, enjoy some free time, perhaps shopping or trying the iconic Polish food, pierogi. This evening, go on an excursion to the baroque styled Wilanow Residence to visit the 'Royal Garden of Lights', showing a fantastically illuminated castle and its gardens.

DAY 3 Warsaw
The 700-year-old capital of Poland is a symbol of nationhood and the will to survive against great odds. A sightseeing tour here includes a drive along the famous Royal Route from grand Castle Square to Lazienki Park and Palace, the summer residence of the last king of Poland. See the Palace of Science and Culture, the Saxon Gardens, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Monument to the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto and the Barbican. Continue with a walking tour of the Old Town, Old Market Square and St. John's Cathedral. The rest of the day is dedicated to visiting the Christmas markets, where the wonderful sights, sounds, smells, taste, and ambience will delight you to no end.

DAY 4 Warsaw - Krakow
This morning, depart for Czestochowa, one of the country's most-visited places of pilgrimage for hundreds of years, to visit the Yasna Gora Monastery. Famous for the image of 'Black Madonna', it is a shrine dedicated to Virgin Mary which is widely venerated and credited with many miracles, especially for saving the monastery from a Swedish invasion in 1655. Continue onto Krakow, a historic city known for its well-preserved medieval core and Jewish quarter that dates to the 7th century. It was the official capital of Poland until 1596 and has traditionally been one of the leading centres of Polish academic, economic, cultural and artistic life. Check into your hotel on arrival and overnight.

DAY 5 Krakow
Sightseeing starts with a trip to Wawel Hill on which it sits constitute the most historically and culturally significant site in Poland - the Wawel Royal Castle. It's a fortified residency that represents nearly all European architectural styles of the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods. See the numerous buildings of great national importance and visit the Royal Cathedral where Polish monarchs were crowned and buried. Circle back to the Old Town for a walking tour that takes you to the Main Market Square, Renaissance Cloth Hall and St. Mary's Church and the afternoon is free to browse at the Christmas markets, full of lovely local artisanry, flavours, activities and celebratory atmosphere.

DAY 6 Krakow
You can spend today either fully enjoying Krakow's Christmas vibes and markets or join an optional tour to Wieliczka Salt Mine, a 700-year-old UNESCO-listed working salt mines. Krakow is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe on a regular day and during Christmas, the city gets even more magnificent with festive decorations, rich aromas and tasty street food everywhere. The most popular ones are at the Old Town, the Jewish Quarter, the Podgorze and Galeria Krakowska (next to the train station). In the evening, gather for a Farewell Dinner with your travel companions

DAY 7 Krakow
Following breakfast, bid farewell to your new friends and Tour Manager as your tour concludes with a departure transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
