DAY 1 Berlin
Welcome to Berlin! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure, so you may either rest or start exploring the eclectic capital of Germany yourself. Dating to the 13th century, Berlin underwent turbulent modern history but has come through a vibrant city for arts, culture and trendy lifestyles. In the evening, join your fellow travellers and Tour Manager for a Welcome Drink.

DAY 2 Berlin
This morning, see the sights of the city with your guide including the impressive Reichstag (a historic legislative government building) and the lovely Schloss Charlottenburg (one of the largest palaces in the world). Continue with the Opera, Schiller Theatre, Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and so on, before a free afternoon to do as you please. A once-divided city, Berlin now has plenty to offer in terms of cool museums, good restaurants and great live events.

DAY 3 Berlin - Dresden - Prague
Travel to the Czech Republic today via Dresden, the beautiful Saxony baroque city. Stop here for an orientation tour, viewing Zwinger Palace and Semper Opera House. Afterwards, proceed to Prague, the 'City of a Hundred Spires' at the heart of the continent, where you will overnight. Bisected by Vltava River, this capital of Bohemia is a political, cultural and economic hub of Central Europe filled with Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture

DAY 4 Prague
Begin your day with a guided tour of Prague, seeing the Royal Castle of Hradcany and visiting St. Vitus Cathedral, followed by the Old Royal Palace, St George's Basilica and the Golden Lane with the Daliborka Tower. Moving onto the Old Town Square with the famous Astronomical Clock (the world's oldest still in operation), you will also pass the Jewish Quarter, St. Nicholas Church and the iconic Charles Bridge built in the 14th-15th century. The rest of the day is yours to soak in this magnificent city, where you can simply sit at a sidewalk cafe and watch the lovely world go by.

DAY 5 Prague - Vienna
Leave Prague for Vienna, the 'City of Music' where Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Strauss and many more called home. Also the capital of Austria, it lies on the northeastern edge of the Alps and is the most populous city on the Danube River. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and the afternoon is for you to discover this artistic metropolis, full of fashionable malls like Ringstrassen Galerien, signature cafes like Cafe Central and exciting bars like Needle Vinyl.

DAY 6 Vienna
Start the day with a visit to St. Stephen's Cathedral, the seat of the archbishop of Vienna, and the Hofburg Palace, the former imperial palace of the Habsburg dynasty in Austria. Continue onto Belvedere Palace (a Baroque palace housing an art museum), Prater Amusement Park (built in the 19th century) and the UN Buildings (one of four global offices). Spend the balance of the day at your whim but don't miss local specialties, such as the Wiener Schnitzel, Sacher Cake or Apple Strudel. At night, why not attend an optional classical concert of Strauss's & Mozart's music?

DAY 7 Vienna - Bratislava - Esztergom - Budapest
On your way to Hungary today, stop at Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia surrounded by vineyards and the Little Carpathian Mountains, crisscrossed with forested hiking and cycling trails. Later, see Esztergom which used to be the capital of Hungary from the 10th to the mid-13th century. At last, arrive in Budapest, a treasure trove of history, culture and natural beauty, that is made up of Buda's quiet leisurely Old Town and Pest's loud bustling part of the city

DAY 8 Budapest
Join your guide and sightsee all the main attractions including The Parliament, the Royal Palace, the Castle Hill area, Fisherman's Bastion, the Matthias Church, Heroes' Square, and Gellert Hill with its Citadel. The afternoon is at your disposal to further explore 'Paris of the East', whether it'd be shopping along Vaci Utca, browsing the Central Market Hall, having a soak in a public thermal bath, sipping on a glass of Tokaji Aszu or munching down a bowl of goulash.

DAY 9 Budapest - Krakow
Go on the road to Krakow that winds through the hills and countryside of Slovakia, past the Tatras Mountains, and into the rolling plains of Poland. DAY 10 Krakow
After breakfast, your tour begins with Wawel Hill, viewing the Royal Castle and visiting the Royal Cathedral. Then walk around the Old Town and see the Main Market Square (dating back to the 13th century) and Renaissance Cloth Hall (Krakow's oldest commercial centre), before visiting St. Mary's Church (one of the best examples of Polish Gothic architecture). You can arrange the afternoon as you wish but remember to try Polish fares like pierogi or bigos.

DAY 11 Krakow - Warsaw
Depart for Auschwitz-Birkenau, the notorious concentration camp from World War II and a UNESCO World Heritage Site for a tour. The Polish Government has preserved it as a research centre and in memory of the 1.1 million people who died there, including 960,000 Jews during the Holocaust. It is a sombre experience but a lesson to be learned. Proceed to Poland's 700-year-old capital and largest city Warsaw and check into your hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 12 Warsaw
Warsaw is a symbol of Polish nationhood and the will to survive against great odds. Your guide will take you along the famous Royal Route from magnificent Castle Square to Lazienki Park and Palace, the summer residence of the last king of Poland. Pass by the Palace of Science and Culture, the Saxon Gardens, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Monument to the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto, and Barbican. Keep strolling about the Old Town, Old Market Square and St. John’s Cathedral, before the day is yours to spend or you can attend an optional Chopin concert.

DAY 13 Warsaw - Vilnius
Drive across the Polish countryside, cities and towns as you head to the border of Lithuania on your way to Vilnius. Being the nation's capital, the centre of Vilnius is notable for its architecture, reflecting diverse styles and eras, and considered one of Europe's largest and best-preserved old towns. The country also has amazing air quality, as it's surrounded by natural landscapes, plains, abundant forests, lakes and swamps. Arrive in the evening and unwind.

DAY 14 Vilnius
Vilnius is located on the confluence of the Neris and Velnele Rivers, whose history dates to the Stone Age. On your city tour today, visit the baroque St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, and the gothic St. Anne's Church. See Vilnius University, Lithuania's first and largest, followed by Gediminas Tower and Vilnius Castle which offer scenic views of the Old Town. The afternoon is at leisure or join an optional tour to the town of Trakai, beautifully set on three lakes.

DAY 15 Vilnius - Riga
In the morning, head to Riga, the charming capital of Latvia, located on the Baltic Sea at the mouth of the Daugava River. A cultural centre with many museums and concert halls, it's equally renowned for its wooden buildings, art nouveau architecture and medieval Old Town. Upon arrival, the rest of the day is free to have a wander through the city, do some shopping, visit a few quirky museums, relax in a park, or perhaps watch a show in the National Opera.

DAY 16 Riga
Commence your sightseeing tour admiring the majestic Riga Castle and the magnificent Dome Cathedral, two of Latvia's most recognizable landmarks, before surveying St. Jacob's Cathedral, St. Peter's Church and the Parliament building (a.k.a. Saeima House). Witness the Liberty Monument that honours soldiers killed during the Latvian War of Independence, and end the tour at the district of Art Nouveau houses, built during a period of rapid economic growth. Spend the remaining time as you wish and we recommend Latvian cuisines such as Karbonade or Maizes zupa.

DAY 17 Riga - Tallinn
Journey forth to Tallinn, Estonia's capital, situated on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland. It has many faces ranging from the extremely photogenic Old Town, a thriving food and technology culture to the brutalist-style architecture that's a legacy of the Soviet years. Settle into your hotel and relax after some hours of travelling, maybe finding a nice bar and taste the national drink Kali, a mix between beer and soda, made from slightly fermented bread

DAY 18 Tallinn
Embark on a walking tour of Tallinn's Upper and Lower Old Town and view Alexander Nevsky Cathedral first, built in 1894-1900 when the country was part of the former Russian Empire. Subsequently, see Toompea Castle that houses the Parliament of Estonia and the 14th-century Town Hall, the oldest surviving of its kind in Northern Europe. Have an afternoon at your disposal and this evening, gather for a farewell dinner to wrap up your time on this trip!
