Day 1 Bucharest
Welcome to Romania! Your tour commences with an arrival transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure so you may either rest or begin exploring Bucharest. Admire the beautiful architecture everywhere and stroll around the relaxing green space throughout the city. This evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2 Bucharest – Sibiu
After breakfast, discover the highlights of Romania’s capital which in the national language, means the 'city of joy'. You will visit the imposing Parliament Palace, the world’s second largest administrative building, the Royal Palace and the historic city centre. Continue to the spectacular Olt Valley, the longest gorge in Romania, dotted with centuries-old churches, before arriving at medieval Sibiu, situated in the historical region of Transylvania.

Day 3 Sibiu - Sibiel - Sibiu

Today, you will explore Sibiu’s impressive Old Town and visit Brukenthal Museum and the Astra Open Air Museum to gain an insight into Romanian history, culture and heritage. Brukenthal Museum is based on the collections of Baron Brukenthal, governor of Transylvania around 1790, while Astra Museum is the largest and most complete open-air museum in Europe that shows the daily life of the local people. Continue to the nearby village of Sibiel in the serene countryside for a typical home-cooked Romanian dinner. Return to Sibiu for overnight.

Day 4 Sibiu – Sighisoara
This morning, admire the perfectly preserved, medieval towns of Medias and Biertan in Transylvania. This area is the heart of traditional and rural Romanian life and has changed little over time. After this, travel towards the beautiful Sighisoara, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its well-preserved walled old town, it is also the birthplace of Vlad Dracula. Enjoy a city tour and have some time to wander the winding, cobblestone streets before dinner at the famous restaurant "Casa Vlad Dracul” where the legend of Dracula was created.

Day 5 Sighisoara - Bran - Brasov
Explore Sighisoara’s 12th century citadel, which is fortified with towers and artillery bastions before continuing to Bran for a tour of Dracula’s castle. Later, travel to charming Brasov for an afternoon city tour that will reveal the magnificence of this city. Here you will visit the Black Church, the largest Gothic church between Vienna and Istanbul, as well as the historic Old Town Hall.

Day 6 Brasov - Sinaia - Bucharest
After breakfast, travel to Sinaia in the Carpathian Mountains for a tour of the enchanting Peles Castle built by King Carol l. Marvel at its fine collection of paintings, sculptures and furniture, the castle is considered a masterpiece of German new-Renaissance architecture and one of the most stunning in Europe. Return to Bucharest for a final night and be treated to a special farewell dinner and folk show, sure to give the perfect conclusion to your time in Romania.

Day 7 Bucharest
